Candle Care

The first burn matters

Let the wax melt all the way to the edges (around 3 to 4 hours). It sets the memory and prevents tunnelling later on.

Burn well, scent better

After that, burn for up to 3 hours at a time. Let the wax reset between burns for best performance and scent throw.

Mind the wick

Before each burn, pinch or trim the wick—especially if a small flower has formed (normal, by the way). Our natural wax doesn’t need much intervention—just a tidy top-up.

Avoid drafts

Keep your candle away from windows, fans or vents. A flickering flame burns faster than you think.

Snuff and centre

Use a snuffer if you have one (or dip the wick into the molten wax with the end of a used match), and gently straighten and re-centre the wick while the wax is soft. Small habit. Big payoff.

Stop at 5mm
Once you’re down to 5mm of wax, it’s time to stop. Clean the container and either refill it—or reimagine its next role.

Diffuser Care

Slow scent, styled quietly

Place the fragrance bottle into the brass container. Don’t pour it. Fit the brass lid.

-

Start with 5-6 reeds (adjust up or down to get the right intensity)

-

Flip them every few days - to keep the scent fresh

-

Place the diffuser in a room with good air flow.

-

Allow up to 48 hours for the scent to fully develop. It’s not instant, it’s intentional.

Safety Notes

Always place your candle on a heat-safe surface

-

Keep it away from flammable objects, pets, and children
-
Never move it while lit
-
Wait for the wax to cool and harden before handling
-
Use a cloth if moving while warm—metal gets hot

Container Care

Made to last

Each container is handcrafted and designed for reuse.

Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth

-

No scrubbing, no harsh products
-
If soot appears, clean with a damp cloth

Simple care. Long life.
